AT ALL OUR LOCATIONS, WE WILL

ENHANCE Our Focus

 

have one Local COMPASSION Partnership FOR each site

Why: We want to really get involved in the needs of the local communities we are in. To make maximum impact we are going to work with each site to find an organization addressing these needs. We want to bless, encourage, and roll up our sleeves with these partners.

How: Based on guiding criteria, we’re going to select a Local Partner for each site, moving from 3 to 10 Local Partners


grow our global compassion partners to 5

Why: Now that we solidified our Global Partnership strategy in Plan 1, we are ready to add two more Partners. We also want to ensure that our Youth have a Global Partner to serve with that is more accessible for shorter trips.

How: We are going to research and do hands-on investigations and trips to find the best Global Partners aligning with our Mission and Vision.

ACROSS OUR NATION AND BEYOND, WE WILL

EXPAND Our Influence

 

Research, develop, and implement a Church Network

Why: We want to build a network to help share best practices, theology, and resources on how to do ministry well.

How: We will unite ourselves with like-minded ministry leaders to help exponentially grow what God is doing in our church and other churches.


Continue to Offer Conferences and events at home and around the world

Why: As we develop more resources that help us internally, our Local Partners, Global Partners, and other churches are regularly asking for these resources. These conferences and events are an easy way for us to streamline delivering our resources in an effective way.

How: In our annual planning and Global Partnership relationships we will coordinate these local or a global conferences.


 
 

WITHIN OUR ORGANIZATION, WE WILL

ENSURE Our Foundation

 

find our “tribe” for relational connection and ministry best practices

Why: Our trusted ministry partners will be critical to our church’s success. There are very few Canadian churches our size and larger, so we want to ensure we are building relationships with those who have gone before us and go beside us.

How: Seek out organizations and other churches similar to us to see how they operate and develop relationship with them.


ensure internal staff resources to facilitate organizational changes

Why: As we grow in this multi-site model, the organization has to grow with it. That means new staff roles, reporting, and structures to ensure the organization can run smoothly.

How: Continue to pay close attention to our Human Resources, pain points, and successes within our church staff and make necessary changes to ensure there’s the right roles filled by the right people in the right structure.
